BLASTOFF! Hilo Civil Air Patrol Cadets earn Model Rocketry Badge

Hilo, Hawai’i – On April 28th, 2023, 15 Cadets in the Civil Air Patrol’s (CAP) Lyman Field Composite Squadron, have earned the coveted CAP Model Rocketry Badge, something that these Cadets have been working on since November 2022. This marks the first time that Model Rocketry was done as a squadron activity and every Cadet that participated in the activity had a lot of fun. One Cadet said, “Model Rocketry is the best activity that I have done since joining CAP!”
